We are currently looking for a talented, self-motivated Brand/Marketing Director who will take a hands-on approach to create content and develop audiences across all of our platforms. In this role, you’ll spend your days as a key marketing contributor, developing strategy and managing business planning for a variety of channels. You’ll use your keen sense of brand style and voice to direct envy worthy content, aligning strategies consistently with overall company goals. You’ll lead a team of specialists and creatives to execute plans. The perfect candidate will thrive in a fast, deadline-driven work environment and manage multiple projects with ease. In order to do this well, you will have a deep passion for the Espresso Parts brand and lifestyle, i.e., specialty coffee, barista life, imbibery, and all things espresso—and you’ll exhibit the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why your ideas are analytically sound. Most importantly, you will play a major hands-on role on any given campaign. You will be working with leadership on fast paced and exciting projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Planning; Plan and execute strategic goals and action steps with regard to Marketing and Sales targets. Develop marketing projects from start to finish and track results.
  • Leadership; Manage a team of marketing specialists, internal and third party,  to assist you with execution of strategies. Ensure that these team members meet deadlines. Communicate job expectations, give feedback through consistent coaching and counseling, and enforce policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Brand Image; Own and build the style guide and champion the brand tone and consistency across all platforms. Manage an extensive library of intellectual property and digital assets, including historical archives. 
  • Direct SEO & Website Content; Direct strategy and execution for both on-page SEO and off-page SEO utilizing third party relationships. Direct product onboarding strategy and execution as well as updates to current product catalog, including but not limited to; product descriptions, category descriptions, and brand pages.  
  • Direct Creative Writing; Develop and assist with writing, editing and proofreading original content (blog posts, ad campaigns, social media, email campaigns, etc.) Act as a brand steward to assure all writing is one voice and advances established brand narratives. A passion for storytelling. 
  • Direct Email Marketing; Manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends. Utilize predictive lifecycle and retention marketing platforms via third party vendor. 
  • Direct Photography; Manage photography team to ensure consistency across all platforms with regard to product photography and lifestyle photography. 
  • Direct Social Media; Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms and their respective participants (Blog, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, SnapChat etc.) and how each platform can be maximized in different scenarios. 
  • Direct Creative Assets; Develop strategies to build and implement creative assets to use across all mediums to drive traffic to achieve strategic targets.

    QUALIFICATIONS, ATTRIBUTES & EXPERIENCE:

    Candidate is expected to have experience with specialty coffee and brand marketing. You must be able to assist in formulating marketing plans and then carry them out. You must be able to measure and document the impact of marketing, and then suggest action-steps to increase impact. Creative writing a must. Demonstrate strong planning skills, prioritizing and managing conflicting demands to meet deadlines. Exhibit a high level of accuracy. Able to navigate successfully and positively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where change occurs rapidly. Motivating and supportive through change. Considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one; looks beyond things accepted as “given” to suggest creative approaches. Maintains confidentiality and high ethical standards. Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (CC) to create and manage assets preferred. Coffee industry experience preferred. Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent work experience.

    DIGITAL PRODUCT CATALOG SPECIALIST

    Espresso Parts (EP) is seeking a dynamic, web-savvy content professional to join our team. This execution heavy position is responsible to work together across multiple departments to deliver an extraordinary online shopping experience. This position will be responsible for updating and maintaining our product catalog across multiple online platforms including but not limited to Amazon and Shopify. From product launches to marketing campaigns, major feature changes to daily product updates, your work will directly impact the experience for customers across the world who visit our online stores every single day. The ideal candidate will have a strong e-commerce background with experience updating and maintaining a complex product catalog or inventory system, and be comfortable navigating and organizing large data sets. You are extremely detail-oriented, structured and strategic in your approach, and comfortable with change and uncertainty in a dynamic work environment. 


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintains and manages all customer-facing content on our online stores. 

    • Maintain product data and attributes for everything sold on our online stores. Work in a number of internal content and data management systems and be expected to maintain clean, accurate, well-organized product information, while executing complex marketing and product launch plans across our online stores. 

    • Day-to-day duties include the creation and publishing of new products and pages while running multiple versions of product and image assets across multiple channels. 

    • You will be expected to actively validate your own work, maintaining the highest level of quality in everything that you do. You will also help the team to identify and implement ways to continuously improve upon production processes. 

    • Other responsibilities include support, testing, and implementation of system features, creation and maintenance of documentation.


    IDEAL CANDIDATE

    • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, technology, operations, and/or retail inventory management.

    • In-depth knowledge and experience with online catalogs and content management systems involving large, structured data sets.  

    • Experience working with multi-channel, multi-tiered pricing systems.

    • Confidence in creating and handling complex database structures and queries.

    • Experience working with outbound email clients and managing email programs strongly preferred.

    • Proven ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines in an environment with quickly shifting priorities; able to shift gears and operate comfortably in ambiguity.

    • Ability to act with a sense of urgency, and with a high degree of self-direction and independence.

    • Ability to build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and individuals.

    • Must be resourceful, creative, detail-oriented, and a problem solver. Be open to new ideas, influences and able to react to new ideas and changing trends
