Digital Product Catalog Specialist


Espresso Parts (EP) is seeking a dynamic, web-savvy content professional to join our team. This execution heavy position is responsible to work together across multiple departments to deliver an extraordinary online shopping experience. This position will be responsible for updating and maintaining our product catalog across multiple online platforms including but not limited to Magento, Amazon, and Shopify. From product launches to marketing campaigns, major feature changes to daily product updates, your work will directly impact the experience for customers across the world who visit our online stores every single day. The ideal candidate will have a strong e-commerce background with experience updating and maintaining a complex product catalog or inventory system, and be comfortable navigating and organizing large data sets. You are extremely detail-oriented, structured and strategic in your approach, and comfortable with change and uncertainty in a dynamic work environment. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains and manages all customer-facing content on our online stores. 

  • Maintain product data and attributes for everything sold on our online stores. Work in a number of internal content and data management systems and be expected to maintain clean, accurate, well-organized product information, while executing complex marketing and product launch plans across our online stores. 

  • Day-to-day duties include the creation and publishing of new products and pages while running multiple versions of product and image assets across multiple channels. 

  • You will be expected to actively validate your own work, maintaining the highest level of quality in everything that you do. You will also help the team to identify and implement ways to continuously improve upon production processes. 

  • Other responsibilities include support, testing, and implementation of system features, creation and maintenance of documentation.


IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, technology, operations, and/or retail inventory management.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience with online catalogs and content management systems involving large, structured data sets.  

  • Experience working with multi-channel, multi-tiered pricing systems.

  • Confidence in creating and handling complex database structures and queries.

  • Experience working with outbound email clients and managing email programs strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines in an environment with quickly shifting priorities; able to shift gears and operate comfortably in ambiguity.

  • Ability to act with a sense of urgency, and with a high degree of self-direction and independence.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and individuals.

  • Must be resourceful, creative, detail-oriented, and a problem solver. Be open to new ideas, influences and able to react to new ideas and changing trends

The Content & Social Media Manager 

Will guide Espresso Parts (EP) brand through the planning and implementation of content & social media strategies in alignment with overarching marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing multi-channeled social media marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, web and e-commerce conversions and further establish EP as a resource for the broader coffee community.  The role will produce exciting and engaging media (stories, graphics, images, and video) content for use across all platforms. 

This candidate will be an expert in content development, content management, and social strategy, and should possess expertise in brand marketing, digital advertising, analytics, influencer marketing, PR, and customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute social media strategy across all relevant platforms.

  • Build community across channels and support the larger community with knowledge and insights.

  • Develop EspressoParts.com content strategy for product pages, resources, and tutorials.

  • Manage video production and timelines as dictated by content strategy.

  • React to social media requests & communications in a timely manner and monitor all activity to proactively respond to issues and requests.

  • Partner with the e-commerce team on all paid social activities, particularly as related to brand and growth marketing.

  • Manage campaign creative, working with internal teams to build out schedules.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • A background in the coffee industry at a cafe, roastery or equipment manufacturer.

  • 3+ years of social media and content experience with proven success in marketing strategy & execution.

  • A proven ability to break down larger initiatives into consumable achievable tasks to achieve objectives

  • Ability to clearly articulate plans and ensure the team is aligned

  • A solutions-oriented mentality with a data-driven approach

  • Copywriter experience preferred, proven exceptional writing skills that can communicate creatively and in an engaging manner

  • A deep understanding of the coffee landscape, trends, insights, behaviors as well as being able to effectively manage communities to drive both growth and engagement.
