PRO TIPS
- A ruby seat resists scale pitting far better than a standard rubber or PTFE seat, so if this solenoid fails prematurely, check your water hardness and softener maintenance, scale buildup on the seat is the most common cause of a solenoid that won't fully close or drips after the shot.
