New steam valve assembly with knob, for the F18 and F18 SB (and Tall) models. This version has been totally redesigned to implement the ergonomic benefit of only having to twist the knob half way to fully open the valve and then back to close it. They've retained the low-profile anti-suction valve on the body which helps mitigate the potential of milk being drawn back up into the machine.
Find the parts break down as well as instructions to retrofit this new valve to your existing F18 model in the just released Tech Bulletin. Not mentioned is how the knob is held to the valve with a spring, and with a forcefull pull, it is easily removed.
