INSTALLATION

Requires opening the check valve body, a manageable DIY task for someone comfortable with basic plumbing disassembly, otherwise a quick job for a technician.

PRO TIPS

  • Measure before you order, three visually similar Rancilio check valve springs exist (#39110070, #39110063, and the longer #39110060/R_81), and using the wrong one either won't seat the valve properly or won't fit the housing at all. If your machine is a Z-11, you almost certainly need R_81, not this one.
