Lever Group Fork Pin (New Version)
Small retaining pin used in the fork of the newer-style (post-2001) lever group head mechanism. It's an inexpensive part, but a worn or sheared pin is a common cause of a loose, sloppy-feeling group lever.
COMPATIBILITY
- Fits: Post-2001 version lever group heads
- Replaces: OEM pin (AS27301)
INSTALLATION
Requires partial group head disassembly, comfortable for an experienced DIYer, otherwise best handled by a technician.
PRO TIPS
- If the group lever feels loose or doesn't snap back cleanly, check this pin before replacing the whole fork, it's a five-minute fix compared to a full fork assembly replacement.
