Mazzer Hopper Safety Switch

Hopper interlock safety switch used on the 'E' version Kony, Major, Robur and Royal grinders, plus the doser versions of the Kony, Major, Major 'Grocery', Robur, Royal, and Stark models. This is the switch responsible for allowing the grinder to power on only when the hopper is properly installed — found on any newer version with the black locking-tab style hopper throat adapter.

COMPATIBILITY

• Fits: Mazzer Kony E, Major E, Robur E, Royal (doser and 'E' versions), Major 'Grocery', and Stark models with the black locking-tab hopper throat adapter
• Works with: Hopper interlock/safety circuit

INSTALLATION

Moderate difficulty — involves basic wiring connections, so comfort with simple electrical work is recommended, or have a qualified technician install it.

PRO TIPS

• If your grinder won't power on even though it's plugged in and the hopper looks properly seated, this switch is a common failure point — test it for continuity with a multimeter before assuming the main power switch or motor is at fault.
