La Pavoni Brass Boiler Flange

Brass flange with the current 1.50mm "coarse" thread pitch used on La Pavoni boilers since 1996; not compatible with the discontinued 1.25mm "fine" thread used on 1978-1996 boilers.

INSTALLATION

A strap wrench or oil-filter wrench can help break the flange loose from the boiler; otherwise a moderate technician-level job.

PRO TIPS

  • A strap wrench (the kind used for oil filters) makes removing a stuck flange much easier than pliers or channel locks, which can mar the brass.
  • The 1.25mm fine-thread flange is out of production — if your boiler uses the old fine thread, replacing this flange requires a new boiler to match.
