Since March of 2014, the 110V version of the Epoca 1 group model has been fitted with a specific power on-off switch and switch for the boiler heating element. This new type of switch is more robust and resistant to the higher amperage required by the 110 volt voltage. The front covering has been modified to enable the new switches to be installed, and the position of the indicator lights has changed.
The switches are installed through the outside of the front covering. The first machine manufactured with the new switches has the serial number N/F 10197910. In order to fit the new switches on machines manufactured prior to serial number 10197910, the front covering must be replaced (part #R32331049). The old version on-off switches (code 34030970) used previously on the machines are still available, and they can be fitted without replacing the front stainless steel switch panel.
