Dispenser pack of (100) Chemex FSU-100 Bonded Unbleached Filter Squares.
These filters will work and are designed for all sizes and styles of Chemex Coffee Brewers except the small Chemex CM-1C & CM-1 models (pint size models) 1-3 Cup Coffee Makers.
Chemex filters remove even the finest sediment particles as well as the undesirable oils and fats. The formulation of the filter permits the proper infusion time by regulating the filtration rate - not to slow, not too fast. Good infusion of the coffee grounds (as in brewing and steeping tea) gives coffee a richer flavor while at the same time making possible precise fractional extraction: filtering out the undesirable components which make coffee bitter by allowing only the desirable flavor elements of the coffee bean to pass through.
The Chemex filter is folded into a cone shape, exactly as in laboratory techniques. This assures uniform extraction since the water filters through all the grounds on its way to the apex of the cone. The Chemex filter is guaranteed not to burst under the weight of the liquid during filtration, and not to break when lifting out the grounds.
Fully-bodied, richer flavor, from less coffee, and as strong as you like without bitterness - that's what the Chemex filter gives you.

Works well - no need for the bleached papers. If you can still taste the paper I'd say try better coffee...

The Chemex filters perform exactly as described resulting in coffee as strong as desired without a trace of bitterness. This is done by filtering out oils and fats which can make coffee bitter. Not a chance of bursting when lifting the wet grounds. All particulates are contained in the filter.

Love a chemex brew, I can't perceive a difference between bleached unbleached filters.

I does a good job filtering coffee, but you do need to rinse it with boiling water first to get rid of the paper taste. Otherwise, the paper taste ruins the coffee.

No matter how much I rinse, I can still taste the paper in the cup
