Our after market La Marzocco style steam wand tip has gone through two years in design and development all to help you foam the perfect milk. It incorporates the style and hole pattern of the O.E.M. Marzocco tips, but was designed for use on other equipment. The holes have been drilled at 1 mm diameter. These will only fit machines that have a wand where the male threads on the wand are 10 mm outside diameter and each thread is 1 mm apart from peak to peak; 1.0 thread pitch (in most cases, this is only on commercial after-market machine steam wands) and no more than five threads high. Be certain to carefully inspect and measure your existing wand before purchasing. You may want to consider purchasing a new after-market steam wand for your model that would accept this tip. Buy this and you may just find yourself to be the envy of milk frothing micro-foamers everywhere.
NOT for La Marzocco equipment, just similar in the hole pattern and hole size. La Marzocco use 1/8" BSP thread and these are M10 metric thread.
Very well made tip. It’s gonna take me some time to get used to it because it heat the milk x3 faster than my original single hole. I like it.
I fitted this to a 20 year old Commercial La Pavoni Pub 1V single group machine. I measured the thread pitch on my existing large 4 hole tip at the hardware store to ensure proper fit. The Espresso Parts 4 hole tip fitted perfectly with a bit of teflon tape (1 wrap) and the smaller holes not only slow down the steaming slightly they produce wonder velvety microfoam not easily possible with my existing tip.
I purchased this item for an Astoria Davina & although the thread diameter is the same the length of the threads is not. The tip does not seat against the stem & allows water vapor to leak out before the end of the wand.
