SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNITY COORDINATOR

We pride ourselves on being one of the most innovative and creative companies in the specialty coffee trade!
We are currently looking for a talented, self-motivated Social Media & Community Coordinator who can help us create content and develop audiences across all of our social platforms. We’re not just looking for someone to post links and prepackaged content—the right candidate will be well-versed in creating, curating and promoting super fresh and compelling content, generating web traffic, crafting stories and brand visibility. They’ll love the challenge of getting attention and generating traffic through creative social content.
In order to do this well, they will have a deep passion for the Espresso Parts brand and lifestyle, i.e., specialty coffee, barista life, imbibery, and all things espresso—and they’ll be as comfortable firing off a witty Tweet as well as planning content for product descriptions.. Most importantly, they comprehend analytics and are comfortable turning data into stories while returning valuable insights to develop innovative social media strategies.
This position is responsible for increasing our brand awareness, driving internet traffic and sales via various social media platforms and community events.
Manage the entire EP social media experience. Utilize word-of-mouth marketing, social media marketing, and Internet marketing techniques to increase traffic, brand awareness, and sales of products.
Develop, expand and manage our blog.
Coordinate and attend specialty coffee events, including but not limited to local, regional, international throwdowns, tradeshows, and sponsorships.
Creative writing, proofreading and editing with strong attention to detail.
Prepare digital media using Photoshop software or other graphic design software, etc.
Takes pictures and videos of events and create content for the EP website, and social media pages.
Organizes and archives digital images and videos. Completes other digital media projects as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, ATTRIBUTES & EXPERIENCE:
Candidate is expected to have experience with social media on on a business level. You must be able to think strategically and see how social media fits into a business' marketing strategy, not just "selling" to our customers, but building long-lasting relationships by providing value to them. Must be able to assist in formulating social media plans and then carry them out. You must be able to measure and document the impact of social media, and then suggest action-steps to increase impact.
Candidates should maintain a positive attitude under pressure, exhibit a strong work ethic, and enjoy working with a wide range of projects. Are you that person?
