It shouldn't surprise anyone that customizing commercial espresso machines has a long history. Where would this espresso industry be without all the pioneering individuals that wouldn't leave well enough alone and set out to make even the smallest improvements to their espresso equipment. Mod'ing or modifying your espresso machine might not be new... but an espresso machine parts category dedicated to it just might be.
