Often I come out to 2 hour old coffee in the morning. Just want one fresh cup of coffee so.... I love how this grinder "crushes" the beans, not slices or cuts like the electric does. I think it releases more oils/flavor from the beans when crushed. It takes about 80-100 revolutions on the crank for my cup of pour over coffee, sounds like a lot, but it is not hard to do while the water is heating. Plus, I like being "off the grid".

It takes a while to get much coffee, but that's a manual grinder. Works great - use it with my Chemex coffee pot

It does a great job I use it for my pour over and I love it. Just wish it had a little more stability when grinding coarse,the grinding burrs flex a little on that grind.
