Espresso Parts introduces a brand new espresso tamp handle design, the Espresso Parts Design 5.

By popular demand, a wood handle tamp from Espresso Parts NW. For years wooden tamp handles designed to fit our espresso tamp pistons have either been short run experiments, or artistic prototypes. We are happy to introduce our newest coffee tamp handle design available in Walnut or Bamboo wood.

While bamboo is considered a plant, it's strength can be greater than that of mild steel and can have a higher compressive strength than concrete. This bodes well for your espresso tamper needs. Small or young specimens of an individual species will produce small culms initially. As the clump and its rhizome system matures, taller and larger culms will be produced each year until the plant approaches its particular species limits of height and diameter. NOTE: Wood grain will differ from handle to handle.

This coffee tamper utilizes the Espresso Parts espresso tamp pistons and are available in your choice of flat or convex packing surfaces in the popular sizes 58mm and 57mm. These are the same tamp pistons used by all four of the last North American Barista Champions. Professional tamps equal professional results.
