This is a very handsome box for which you may knock spent espresso grounds from your portafilter. This unit is constructed of stainless steel. The knock bar is covered with rubber to reduce damage to the filter basket. The thick rubber base keeps the box from sliding on your counter top and also reduces noise. Dishwasher safe. nice small size doesn't take up much space. It's not very deep so it only holds 3-4 pucks under the bar.

Solid and easy to clean. Rubber sleeve on bar seems a bit thin, but as Henrik said, 4" of fuel hose will work perfectly when I finally need it. Small enough it doesn't take up too much counter space in our small kitchen, but big enough I can knock multiple pucks in it before dumping.

Shipped with the box open and the knock bar missing. Had to ship the bar later. That said, this is a great knock box for home use. I wouldn't recommend it for heavy commercial use. This is the second one of these I've ordered (this one is for my daughter) and I've had zero problems with the knock bar covering with two plus years of use. Easy to clean, non-slip removable base and quality construction.

Have used mine for over a year now. A . Got one for a friend too. The only issue is that the rubber that covers the crossbar is too thin. The solution: 4" of fuel-hose from your local automotive store.
